Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chapter Autumn Academic Meeting 2025 –

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chapter of the Pakistan Society of Internal Medicine (PSIM) successfully inaugurated its much-anticipated Autumn Academic Meeting with an elegant ceremony, setting the stage for a weekend dedicated to advancing the field of internal medicine.

An Inaugural Evening of Distinction

On Saturday, 29th November 2025, the historic Peshawar Museum provided a majestic setting for the Inaugural Ceremony and Faculty Dinner. The event, held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, beautifully blended academic prestige with cultural heritage.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of Professor Dr. Aftab Mohsin, President of the Pakistan Society of Internal Medicine, who presided as the Chief Guest. His address inspired attendees, emphasizing unity, innovation and the evolving role of internists in Pakistan's healthcare system.

The organizing team was warmly welcomed by  Dr. Salma Zeb, Vice President KPK and Chairperson of the Organizing Committee and Professor Aamir Ghafoor Khan, Senior Vice President (International Relations) of PSIM. Their opening remarks highlighted the chapter's commitment to fostering a national platform for scholarly exchange.

The evening was attended by senior faculty members and distinguished physicians from across the country, making it a truly national gathering marked by collegiality and a shared vision for the future of internal medicine.
