Diabetes and wellbeing CME Activity by UAE Chapter

Short Summary

The Diabetes & Well-Being Conference, followed by a Poetry Evening and Book Launch, Organised by PSIM UAE Chapter, PAD, and PMC Academia. This event beautifully integrated medical knowledge with literary expression was successfully held on 11 January 2026 at the Pakistan Association Dubai Auditorium. The scientific programme featured insightful sessions by Dr. Zia ul Hasan, Dr. Rahila Bhatti, Dr. Seemin Shiraz, and Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, covering diabetes prevention, latest treatment advances, Ramadan care, and safe travel. The sessions were expertly moderated by Dr. Fayeza Fahim. The evening concluded with the launch of Potpourri: Petals of the Past by Dr. Hammad Ahmed Bhatti, alongside a poetry session featuring Dr. Kashif Rafique, and was gracefully hosted by Dr. Saman Iqbal whereas Dr. Manzar Alam was the Chief guest.
