Dr. Umaira Aziz is a distinguished Diabetes and Endocrinology Consultant with comprehensive training in the UK. She holds a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) from London in both diabetes and endocrinology as well as internal medicine. Dr. Aziz earned her MSc in Diabetes from the University of Warwick, UK, and is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in Endocrinology.

With a profound interest in Diabetes in Pregnancy and Maternal Medicine, Dr. Aziz further specialized by obtaining a degree in Maternal Medicine from King's College London. She is also an Obesity Specialist. She has worked in University college London hospital in UK and lead largest covid-19 research in Royal free hospital and contributed to local and national guidelines in diabetes in UK.

 Currently serving as a Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology at Emirates Health Services (EHS) in Ibrahim bin Hamad Obaidullah Hospital, R.A.K, UAE. In addition, she leads the Antenatal Diabetes services at both IBHOH and Omran Hospital in RAK EHS.

 Dr. Aziz is an Honorary Assistant Professor in Internal Medicine at RAK Medical University and serves as a committee member for the Young Diabetes Forum for Emirates Diabetes and Endocrine Society. She holds the position of Assistant Deputy Director for EHS Diabetes Standardization and is the Communication Director for the American Diabetes Association (ADA) Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease Interest Group.
